Si aceptamos que el capitalismo depredador nos lleva hacia el desastre financiero y ambiental necesitamos una alternativa vigorosa y atractiva que la gente puede elegir al empeorar las cosas. Una solución posible puede ser el dinero local “stamp-scrip ‘ (freemoney/freigeld), que poco a poco pierde su valor si no se gasta, por lo que la gente le gasta lo antes posible y se expande la economía local. No sirve de nada el acaparamiento de capital en este esquema.

El dinero ‘Stamp-scrip’ se utilizó con éxito asombroso en Austria durante la gran depresión, donde, por ejemplo, la ciudad a la quiebra de Worgl se transformó en sólo 14 meses, (luego el sistema fue prohibido por el estado y los bancos), pero menos bien en los Estados Unidos, donde fue organizado en una manera diferente. Obama admits anti Russian coup, says US ‘brokered transition’ in Ukraine
