Its the moment of truth for the 9N Catalan ‘referendum’, now called the ‘consultation’.

The far-right Spanish government are playing the ”fascist card”, whipping up a dangerous frenzy of false nationalism to escape the avalanche of corruption cases being revealed daily against their top members.

WILL THEY USE MILTARY POLICE AGAINST 1000s POLLING STATIONS? — WILL THEY USE MILITARY POLICE AGAINST 1000s OF POLLING STATIONS?

The right-wing ”Spanish Constitutional Court” is about to ban it for the 2nd time (on orders from their political paymasters).

Will the Catalan government obey and order their own Catalan police, the Mossos, to attack the 40,000 volunteers who are all organized down to the the last detail and ready to go next Sunday?

If not will the corrupt and inept far Spanish PP government carry out its threat to arrest and jail the Catalan leaders, as happened so many times under the fascist dictatorship? Their direct predecessors even executed one legally elected Catalan president, LluisCompanys, along with tens of thousands of Catalan republicans, and banned the Catalan language from schools for 40 years, etc.

Worst Storm in history tonight..Nuri to gust at 378 kph (235mph)

Check out the graphic below. Super typhoon Nuri is forecast to hit 314 kph winds with 378kph gusts tonight/morning at 7.00am. (3rd Nov.)

Then check the Wikipedia entry below. The world record Typhoon Tip was ”only” 305 kph or 190mph.

Luckily there is no land on Nuri’s present track, I wouldn’t fancy being on a boat.

The record ‘Climate Change’ storm should also miss Japan, though with a deviation of just a few degrees it could hit Fukushima while still at hurricane strength.

How to DUMP Fossil Fuels… Alex Lightman.. CO2-free fuel

At last a major ‘tech guru’ is in favour of green-NH3, the non-fossil aand CO2-free fuel that has always existed, suppressed by the fossil fuel industry. (See Ted Talk below). We’ve been saying it for years with zero impact. all combustion motors can be run on green NH3, cutting climate destroying gases by 30% and abolishing air pollution, saving millions from an agonizing death.

Alex Lightman has challenged the oil giants, with

Its a huge advance for green-NH3 (ie. ammonia from renewables) and comes hard on the heels of Toyota’s CO2-free ammonia prototype sportscar.. and the proposal to convert part of Sth Korea’s fleet Korean ammonia NH3 car to Slash CO2 and Toxic Air.

Lightman is another ‘Mr Fix It’ reformist, albeit a brilliant and powerful one. He wants to destroy the oil giants to fix capitalism, so that it can escape its current blind alley and the USA can still rule the world. However if the alternative is climate chaos and the extinction of millions of species, including our children, his reformism is more than welcome, as a respite while real grass roots revolution can develop.
