According to Telesur, the book began as part of an exhibit showcased earlier this month at The Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art in Middlesbrough, England.

Today, NATO has become the weaponized arm of defending the interests of Western capitalism throughout the world and not a factor of security for Europe as we were sold  in the context of Cold War.

We call on all the ungovernable in Europe and elsewhere to join the antimilitarist and anti-capitalist bloc from 5 pm at the Gare du Nord. The next day, at the NATO summit, a “blockage” to disrupt as much as possible the rendezvous of the great powers is also being organized by some associations.

To finance death and suffering, capitalist nations are leading at least two other wars on the rest of the world. A social war is waged within each frontier to make the poorest pay for both the whips that keep them in the rank of exploited but also the massacres of the populations and looting of resources of the countries they call under- developed, constituting a second devastating external economic war. Yemen: Arms sales pass $3 billion as daily Massacres continue. Spanish Firefighter halts Arms Loading and is Punished

http://insurgente.org    A Spanish firefighter could receive up to four years of suspension from his job after he refused to approve a weapons and explosives-laden shipment from the port city of Bilbao to Saudi Arabia for potential use in Yemen.

Speaking from the town of Getxo, on Friday, Biscayan firefighter Inazio Robles said he refused to supervise the 26-countainer shipment after his superiors confirmed its contents and destination.


4,000 tons of explosives, bombs and detonators, .. used to kill civilians in the invasion of Yemen.

A firefighter who on 13 March refused to hold a check in a shipment of arms in the port of Bilbao will be sanctioned. The weapons, 4,000 tons of explosives, bombs and detonators, were directed to Saudi Arabia and were to be used to kill civilians in the invasion of Yemen. Another  indigenous leader has been shot dead 

Yoryanis Isabel Bernal Varela, 43, was a leader of the Wiwa tribe and a campaigner for both indigenous and women’s rights.

The Wiwa are one of four tribes that live on the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, a unique pyramid-shaped mountain in northern Colombia. The Sierra Nevada Indians believe it is their responsibility to maintain the balance of the universe.1_intro_missing-justice-web-slider-417fa

Bernal Varela is the latest victim in a long line of attacks against Sierra Nevada leaders, who have been at the forefront of the indigenous movement in South America. Many Indians have been killed by drug gangs, left-wing guerrillas and the army.

In November 2012 Rogelio Mejía, the leader of one of the other Sierra Nevada tribes, the Arhuaco, narrowly escaped an assassination attempt.

José Gregorio Rodríguez, secretary of the Wiwa Golkuche organization, stated: “Indigenous people are being threatened and intimidated. Today they murdered our comrade and violated our rights. Our other leaders must be protected.”

The problem is not limited to Colombia. Indigenous activists throughout Latin America are being murdered for campaigning against the theft of their lands and resources. The murderers are seldom brought to justice.colombia-indigenas-do-norte-do-cauca

In January, Mexican Tarahumara indigenous leader Isidro Ballenero López was killed. In 2005 he had received the prestigious Goldman prize for his fight against illegal deforestation.
