El precio medio del mercado diario de electricidad se situó en enero en 50,5 euros por megavatio hora (MWh), lo que supone un incremento del 21% con respecto a los 41,73 euros por MWh de diciembre, según el último informe de seguimiento de la Comisión Nacional de la Energía (CNE).

Desde 2007 que se instauró el sistema del ‘tocomocho’ de la subasta el déficit de tarifa (los costes de la energía eléctrica no facturada) asciende a 24.000 millones de euros y cada año se incrementa en unos 4.000 millones.

Bradley Manning: Wales DEMANDS he comes home

Ask any Welsh man or woman about whistleblower Bradley Manning and most will simply say, they want him back.

Back home to Wales, where he spent his childhood; back to a country that – like he – is small in size but grand in its visions; renowned more for its poetry and bards than the wars or arrogance of the country where Manning now finds himself prosecuted merely for telling the truth.

Today…today is the 1000th day of Manning’s incarceration without trial. And on this most inauspicious day we offer an asymmetric take on his prosecution, to examine how it can be subverted – via its ‘Welsh dimension’.

And should you be poetic too you may hear a cry, carried high by the eagles of Myrddin from the misty eyries of Yr Wyddfa, to the song-filled valley of Afon Mawdach and on to the druidic Preseli hills: ‘Gadewch iddo fynd. Gadewch iddo fynd nawr!’*

María Soledad, ‘murió por no tener papeles’

Un boliviano denuncia la muerte de su esposa tras ser rechazada en un ambulatorio por no tener papeles

“Le atendieron por dos veces en urgencias y, a la tercera, me pidieron dinero. Si mi mujer hubiese sido bien atendida no estaría muerta”. Estas son las palabras de Jesús B. ante el Tanatorio de Valencia donde vela el cuerpo de su esposa, boliviana, de 50 años y que falleció tras ser rechazada en su centro de salud y pasar por diferentes servicios de urgencias.

María Soledad, que así se llama la fallecida, murió el miércoles en su casa tras acudir a un centro de salud dos veces, otras dos a un centro de especialidades y dos más al hospital. Spain: 600,000 Reject the privatization of Health

Robin Hood: anarchist on the Run.. update

Update. 15th Feb ’13. Enric Duran, the ‘anarchist Robin Hood’ is now on the run, after the Spanish State declared him an outlaw and ordered his immediate ‘Search and Capture’. Enric is charged with ‘stealing’ 492,000 euros which he borrowed from gullible banks and donated to revolutionary and social causes.

LATEST UPDATE. despite the news in this and many other papers it has emerged that the arrest warrant was never officially sent and the trial remains blocked! Great News for Enric!

Enric refused to attend his trial on Tuesday after all his witnesses had been banned by the judge (even some bank managers who were to testify for him), and because the trial was brought forward by surprise.

He had planned to use the trial to expose and reject the banks and capitalist system: ‘While banks’ and institutions’ credibility is almost zero, hundreds of senior politicians and bankers are being impeached and almost all of them getting away with everything.
