The occupied self run center in the Palace of the Marquis of Rozalejo of Pamplona, ​​20 yrs abandoned and occupied eleven months before,  was violently evicted in the middle of the night by the Navarra Govt despite widespread local support. see videos..

Then 2 days later it was resquatted by the same collective who prepared to resist again ‘tooth and nail’.

The Assembly of ‘Gaztetxe Maravillas’, strongly anarcha feminist, demanded that the Government of Navarre “paralyze the eviction process” of the building and “withdraw the complaint against the accused persons” .

The festive march last Saturday was supported by many collectives and local people. Thousands of people have joined the protest led by a banner reading “Wonders Herriantzat” (Wonders for the People) and a second slogan that “is not a gaztetxe, but a way to understand the world” .

Ireland’s Women Force Abortion Referendum: It’s Time to say ‘Yes’

The countdown has started for Ireland to, hopefully, liberalise its abortion law, which is one of the most restrictive in Europe.

A referendum to repeal article 40.3.3, known as the 8th Amendment to the Irish Constitution, will be held on May 25.

If the majority votes “yes” to repeal the amendment, this will pave the way for a new abortion law, one that is in line with today’s human rights standards.

A draft bill that would replace the current abortion law, if Ireland chooses to repeal, has already been shared with the public – If “yes” votes are loud enough, women will have the right to request an abortion during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.

 Ireland’s current abortion law is a long-standing human rights violation that has been depriving women of their right to life, health, privacy, information, equality and non-discrimination, as well as their right to be free from torture and ill-treatment.

French Uprising Spreading as Police use Water Cannon, Toxic Gas and Snatch Squads.


 Everywhere in France people are suffering cuts, closures and blatant injustice  under Macron’s rightwing regime. The aim is to increase Corporate profits, make the rich richer and compete with even more repressive slave economies. After sending an army of police and bulldozers to destroy the alternative ZAD social system the eco warriors fight on in the ruins and forests, calling for a mass uprising which is snowballing as we speak, calling for us to go even beyond May 68 and lay the foundations of a better world.

Main Text via RT with thanks     Police have clashed with protesters on the streets of Paris as rail workers and students continue nationwide demonstrations against sweeping new labor reforms.

Officers in riot gear fired tear gas and used water cannons to disperse protesters angry at French President Emmanuel Macron’s decision to pursue job cuts and salary freezes across the public sector, including education, transport and the courts.

In footage captured from the scene of the protest at Boulevard Saint-Jacques in the 14th arrondissement protesters can be seen throwing objects at police and lifting street-side railings to use as barriers.  Since this morning, the state has done everything possible to break this huge surge of solidarity: there are road blocks and checkpoints everywhere; police checkpoint policeman at the exit lanes of the motorways, asking drivers not to to try to go to the solidarity gathering.

8th March..First Ever Feminist General Strike called in Spain

Its a Feminist women’s strike. In order to give it legal coverage it had to be officially registered by a Trade Union, in this case the anarchist CGT. But it’s not legal to call a Women’s Strike in Spain, so they went one further and registered it as the first feminist General Strike. Legal and official.

Class War smash Qatari Royals and promote Protest Rights

There’s something delicious about seeing very rich and powerful people take on a fight and then realise they’ve bitten off more than they can chew. They’re not used to it and sometimes seemingly small victories are the best we can hope for.

Last week Class War founder, Ian Bone, promoted globally on facebook the idea of redressing the balance on housing in London by occupying the Shard. There are multi million quid apartments in the building laying empty year and after year, meanwhile homelessness is on the rise and the vast majority of Grenfell survivors have still not been re-housed.

Before I go further I should say I’m part of Class War. My PhD research from the inside of the group has unearthed many examples of both the authorities and the media imagining that Class War just has to press a button somewhere and the unruly mob of thousands rises from the streets to literally devastate the avenues where the wealthy live. Class War are organising protests all the time and the size of a protest doesn’t really have an exact science behind it; some things take off and most things don’t. The vast majority of Class War events pass without any media interest. This means that when they do take off and large numbers attend a demo and boisterous things occur the police and others can look terribly inadequate so there has become a standard theme to policing Class War events: they send at least a van of cops along, hours in advance just in case, presumably with others on standby if they feel it necessary.
