Madrid: Workers OCCUPY Hospital de La Princesa.

update 9th November.. there are now EIGHT hospitals partly or wholly occupied in the Madrid area, to stop mass selloffs and closures

The OCCUPATION of the Hospital de La Princesa (started on Friday) has been a boost for the rest of health professionals in the region. Workers of all hospitals are organizing to Madrid holding demonstrations in protest against attempts to privatize Health system of the Community of Madrid , say the health officials of CCOO, UGT and CSIT unions.

French gendarmes police have failed to evict all opponents of a project to build an international irport in Notre-Dame-des-Landes, in western France. The area is currently protected swampland and local farmers were among the protestors.

To the developers, the ZAD is merely a ‘deferred development zone’ since decades. To fighters, this is a zone to be defended (Zone À Défendre). Either way, the space is located in the countryside north of Nantes, in France. According to the Power, it should make way for industrialist plans, and particularly an international airport of Notre-Dame-des-Landes. La Iglesia española viene durante años poniendo a su nombre casas rectorales, viñedos, olivares, atrios, solares, pisos que pertenecían a los pueblos o que, en todo caso, nunca se registraron.
