Because the Sareb is publicly owned it’s ours, and their houses too, which legitimizes our occupation protest on 21 March in the Bank at the Paseo de la Castellana .  ( ‘Sareb’ refers to a ‘bad bank’ set up specially to receive and sell off seized homes, properties and toxic debts

We will not allow ourselves to be criminalized for fighting for families who are homeless when it’s YOU WHO ARE TO BLAME, for people who are depressed WHEN YOU ARE TO BLAME , for lives shattered WHEN YOU ARE TO BLAME.

Because yes, you are to blame , and we are in the right and we are showing that YES WE CAN WIN at points all over the Spanish State .

Catalans will try to form a human chain, holding hands along the entire 400 km seashore of Catalonia in the Spanish State. The demonstration is called by a non governmental organization the Catalan National Assembly (ANC) with the theme “Catalan way to independence” on Wed. September 11, the Catalan national day. Since taking office in November 2011, Mariano Rajoy’s government has done pretty much everything it can to alienate the Spanish public. Even before completing its maiden year in office, it had broken almost all of its key election pledges. Taxes would not be hiked, it had promised, but they soon were. Banks would never be bailed out with public funds, public spending on vital services would not be cut, unemployment would be a priority, the economy would improve, public hospitals would be safe in their hands… all turned out to be lies.
